Exit Validator
Exiting a validator is the final step in the staking lifecycle. This action initiates the process of removing your validator from Ethereum’s active validator set and returning your staked ETH.
🧾 What Happens When You Exit
When you choose to exit your validator on ContributionDAO's platform:
- Your validator will begin the Ethereum exit queue process, which may take time depending on overall network conditions.
- Once the exit is finalized and the withdrawal is processed:
- Your original 32 ETH (per validator) will be returned to your withdrawal wallet.
- All pending Execution Layer (EL) rewards will be claimed automatically.
⚠️ Important Notes
- The Execution Layer rewards claim is automated during the exit—no action is needed from your side.
- For additional details about how rewards are processed and distributed, please refer to the 👉 Claim Rewards page.
- You can track the status of your exit and pending rewards in the My Validators section.
🛠 How to Exit a Validator

- Review and Accept Terms Carefully review the platform’s terms and agreement, then confirm your acceptance to proceed.
